Filing of CRS compliance forms – deadline fast approaching

The deadline for filing CRS Compliance Forms for 2019 and 2020 with the Cayman Islands Department for International Tax Cooperation ("DITC") is 15 September 2021.

All financial institutions that have reporting obligations for CRS must file their CRS Compliance Forms on or before this date. Failure to do so is considered an offence and could lead to a significant fine.

The DITC have made available a list of FAQs to help with the completion of CRS Compliance Forms.

      How can Waystone help?
