      CIMA – Private Funds FAR filing extension & new RFE Form

      On 30 August 2021, the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) issued a notice and made available the Private Funds Related Fund Entity (RFE) Form which is now available and can be accessed via the CIMA Regulatory Enhanced Electronic Forms Submission (REEFS) portal.

      The Completion Guidance for the RFE Form is available now on the CIMA website here, and with the RFE Form can be accessed via CIMA’s REEFS Portal here.

      On 10 September 2021, CIMA issued a notice that the deadline for filing the Private Funds Fund Annual Return (FAR) and RFE Form for all Private Funds with a financial year-end up to 31 March 2021 has been extended to 31 October 2021.
