Waystone Appointed ACD to Support Brooks Macdonald Building Block Fund Launch
Waystone, a leading provider of specialist services to the asset management industry, today announced that it has been appointed as Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) to three new funds being launched by Brooks Macdonald, the UK focused investment manager. Waystone will also provide Transfer Agency services to the funds.
The three funds – Global Equity, Global Fixed Income and Alternatives – will form part of a new unitised “building block” structure supporting Brooks Macdonald’s Managed Portfolio Service (MPS).
The new structure is designed to simplify and strengthen the infrastructure underpinning Brooks Macdonald’s MPS, giving the firm greater control over portfolio implementation and providing a scalable framework through which to access a broader range of investments and asset classes.
As ACD, Waystone is providing independent governance and regulatory oversight for the three funds, supporting Brooks Macdonald with the specialist infrastructure and expertise required to operate the new structure at scale.
The appointment builds on Waystone’s position as the UK’s largest independent ACD1, supporting asset and wealth managers across a broad range of fund structures and investment strategies.
