Global Chief Revenue Officer Des Johnson to lead commercial team

Dublin, Ireland – Waystone today announced that Cyril Delamare has been appointed as an advisor to the group having stepped down from his current role as Chief Growth Officer and will remain Non-Executive Director of the Montlake UCITS Platform.

Having founded Montlake in 2009 and led the business through to its merger with DMS Group and MDO – creating what is now Waystone Group – Cyril has helped Waystone to expand and grow into the business it is today. In his new capacity as an advisor to the business, Cyril will continue to strategically support the company. Simultaneously, as Non-Executive Director, Cyril will still oversee the Montlake UCITS platform, an innovative fund structure that he put in place in 2010.

With the business continuing to make good progress on the acquisition of Link, Global Chief Revenue Officer, Des Johnson, will now lead the commercial team, coordinating the sales effort and global presence of Waystone. With over 25 years of global, fund industry experience, Des is a specialist in creating highly successful, client and investor focused commercial propositions.

Nancy Lewis, Executive Chairwoman, Waystone said: “Cyril has been a key player in growing Waystone to support global assets in excess of $2 trillion and we are delighted that he will remain with us on our growth journey as a trusted advisor and NED. I’m also looking forward to working together with Des to support the continued growth of the business as we enter this exciting next phase.”
