Robert Monks, CFA

Robert joined Waystone in 2021 and is based in Dublin. Robert acts as the Chief Risk Officer and Chair of the Risk Committee for Waystone Investment Management (IE) Limited. Robert also supports the development of large-scale risk advisory projects for high profile platforms, from management companies to fund clients, supporting Waystone’s European operations across a range of functions. Robert manages the onboarding of clients including assisting with the finalisation of the investment risk portions of the fund prospectus and supplementary documentation.

Previously, Robert held the role of Senior Manager, Portfolio Analytics at Fidelity International, where he managed the attribution and risk reporting team, with responsibility for attribution and risk analytics such as quarterly fund reports, investment risk oversight packs, liquidity reporting and provided support to the investment teams.

Prior to this, Robert held the role of Alternative Investment Fund Accountant, responsible for various hedge fund client portfolios at Centaur including the calculation of Net Asset Values in line with client requirements, processing corporate actions, performance fees and derivative pricing.

Robert holds a Master’s degree in Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
