Mark Beckett, FCCA

Mark joined Waystone in 2021 as a result of the acquisition of Azienda Financial Services which Mark founded in May 2017. At Waystone, Mark is Managing Director within the Structured Finance operation and is responsible for the development and continued growth of the Luxembourg structured finance division.

Prior to setting up Azienda Financial Services, Mark relocated from London to join LGL Trustees to set up their Luxembourg office, establishing their presence in Luxembourg. Mark’s time in London with Orangefield Group followed directly on from his time in Singapore.

In 2010 Mark joined Orangefield Group (the continuation of ING Trust) to head up their Singapore office as Managing Director of a fully regulated trust company. Mark’s main remit for the expansion of the existing operation was to create and build out a full private equity fund administration team which was completed with ISAE 3402 Type II certification achieved in 2014.

In 2005 Mark relocated from London to Luxembourg to join Citco in their private equity and real estate division with a focus on accounting operations for private equity and real estate fund structures throughout Europe. By 2008 Mark was appointed as Assistant Managing Director of Citco’s Luxembourg PERE office and building on this took the opportunity to set up and open Citco Japan in Tokyo. Following directly on from his time in Japan, Mark relocated back to Europe and took the role of Managing Director of Citco Vilnius in Lithuania being the outsourcing office for all Citco Europe offices dealing with client structures including private equity and real estate funds, corporate and multinational as well as private clients.

Mark is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Luxembourg Ordre des Experts Comptables (Luxembourg Chartered Accountancy Body).
