Darragh O’Neill

Darragh O’Neill is a Managing Director within Waystone Regulated Fund Solutions and is based in Ireland.

Darragh has over 20 years’ experience in management company, investment operations, and fund administration services. In his current role, Darragh leads the definition and development of management company products in Waystone, covering AIFM, UCITS management company, investment management, and middle office responsibilities. In addition, Darragh has responsibility for assessing the current product suite and new opportunities to enable decision making in product refinement, whilst also overseeing the implementation of the target operating model for each service offering.

Before moving to his current role Darragh previously served as Designated Person for Capital & Financial Management (PCF-39A) then Chief Operating Officer (PCF-42) within Waystone Management Company in Ireland.

Prior to joining Waystone in April 2019, Darragh was a senior operations manager at SEI for 3 years, where he set-up and managed SEI’s European loan operations team. Darragh also spent 8 years at BNY Mellon, managing a fund accounting team for 6 years in addition to working as a service director for alternative investment fund clients during the latter 2 years of his time there. Darragh began his career at Citco fund services.

Darragh holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Economics from University College Dublin, and a Higher Diploma (Hons) in Business Studies and Accounting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
