Tania Siegmund leads the Risk and Business management team, a control and quality function within Waystone Management Company (Lux) S.A.
As Head of Risk and Business Management, Tania oversees operational risk and is charged with creating risk awareness within the company. As part of a Luxembourg management company, Risk and Business Management has a key role in the Operations Department servicing UCITS and AIFMD structures. The team is responsible for implementing processes and controls and then ensuring that these are properly executed according to regulations, good governance and market practices thus delivering the highest quality management company services possible.
Tania has over 13 years of experience in the investment fund industry, working specifically in risk and business management for more than 9 years. Tania has been with Waystone for over 5 years. Prior to this she worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd in Luxembourg.
Tania is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and German with conversational French and Arabic.
