Patricia O’Connor

Patricia O’Connor is Managing Director of the Corporate Service division of Waystone in Ireland and her key role is the oversight of the local team and operations, including the integration and establishment of group processes, whilst liaising closely with all key stakeholders.

Over the course of her career to date, Patricia has gained significant experience and knowledge in company law, restructuring, legal entity governance, company secretarial and accounting and tax compliance. Patricia is actively involved in the provision of services to a broad portfolio of clients.

Prior to joining Waystone, Patricia was a Finance Manager and Company Secretary at GE for 11 years. Patricia has previously held position of Company Secretary for 40 Irish companies. Patricia began her career in practice where she qualified as a chartered accountant.

Patricia holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Business Studies, Accounting & Finance. She is a member of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, holds an auditing certificate and a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.

Patricia acts as director on the board of a number of client companies specialising in the area of Aviation, Minning and Corporate Services clients.

She has broad expertise in the governance, risk and compliance space, drawing on her over 20 years of financial services experience including governance, investment management, financial products, regulatory matters and distressed/restructuring scenarios.
