Maria Nugent

Maria Nugent is a Financial Accountant within the Structured Finance division of Waystone in Ireland and is based in our Cashel office. She is responsible for the management and delivery of services to our structured finance and aviation clients. Maria has extensive experience and knowledge in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, audit and assurance and corporate governance.

Maria is a graduate of the University College of Cork and holds a first class honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. She is a qualified chartered accountant and completed her training with KPMG Dublin in the financial services division.

She has previously worked on the Finance team in the National Treasury Management Agency for the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland. She has also worked as an internal auditor for Paddy Power.
