Emma Gormley has been active in the financial services industry since 2008 and is a Director at Waystone following its acquisition of KB Associates. Prior to this, Emma served as an Associate Director within KB Associates’ AIFMD and UCITS authorised management company. She has extensive experience on the establishment and ongoing operations of UCITS and AIFMD compliant fund structures both in Ireland and Luxembourg, along with advising clients and fund boards on on-going operational, regulatory and compliance risk matters. Emma also has experience managing fund mergers and the migration of funds to Ireland.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from GMIT, a Diploma in Applied Alternative Investments, a Professional Certificate for Designated Persons in a Fund Management Company and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2003. She has been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland as a Non-Executive Director (PCF-2A) for fund boards.
Prior to joining KB Associates, Emma worked at Brown Brothers Harriman where she was responsible for financial reporting on a wide range of audited fund structures. She commenced her career in the financial reporting division of GAM Fund Management Limited
