A certified public accountant, Emerlie Marquez has over 9 years of experience working in the financial industry in fund accounting manager positions. Emerlie has experience working for companies whose investment strategies include hedge funds, debt and private equities.
At Waystone, Emerlie is based in the Manila location and in this client-facing role is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring superior client service and the efficient delivery of accurate information. Emerlie oversees a team of fund accountants and senior fund accountants, reviewing client deliverables and liaising with investment managers, brokers and custodians on a daily basis.
Prior to joining Waystone, Emerlie held managerial roles at HC Global Fund Services, Piedmont Fund Services and previously at IQ-EQ, where she provided fund accounting services to a portfolio of private equities, venture funds, hedge funds and SPVs.
Emerlie is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
