Diarmuid O’Donovan is Chief Information Officer at Waystone and is based in Dublin. Diarmuid has a proven track record in platform transformation and has extensive knowledge of front, middle and back-office systems and associated infrastructure, gained during his over 25 years of experience working in senior positions within the investment services industry.
Diarmuid joined Waystone from International Financial Data Services (IFDS) where he held the position of Head of Technology, New Business Onboarding & Change Management. Previously, Diarmuid held Global Senior Management roles in Technology, Operations and Product Management at Deutsche Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, PNC & J.P. Morgan.
As Chief Information Officer at Waystone, Diarmuid is responsible for Waystone’s IT strategy across eight global jurisdictions, including the acquisition integration program, platform transformation program and group digital strategy. Diarmuid provides expertise and direction to Waystone’s senior leadership on all technology-related matters.
Since joining Waystone in 2019, Diarmuid has overseen the consolidation of IT infrastructure across Waystone’s network, following multiple acquisitions throughout 2020 and 2021 as it continues its steady growth, both organically and by way of acquisition.
