Destinas Shengova

Destinas Shengova joined Waystone in 2019 as Associate Director, based in the London office. Destinas has over 14 years of experience in the provision of administration services for investment funds, having worked in fund accounting and administration for a wide variety of investment funds, covering various jurisdictions, legal structures and investment strategies and with specialisms including, oversight, account management and people management.

Destinas joined Waystone as part of its acquisition of Host Capital where she held the position of Senior Manager, Fund Accounting and Operations Oversight. Prior to joining Host Capital, Destinas was an Account Manager for TMF Group’s Fund Services division in Sofia, Bulgaria (merging with Custom House Fund Services in 2015). At TMF, Destinas was responsible for all aspects of the services provided to its clients. In the years prior to joining Host Capital, Destinas’ main work focus was on private equity and complex structure investment vehicles, managing various projects including client on-boarding, migration, development and the implementation of internal controls and procedures.

Destinas holds a MSc in Finance from the University of National and World Economics in Sofia and has completed Level 2 in the CFA Program of the CFA Institute.
