Andrew Lamont joined Waystone in 2020. He is Chief Risk Officer of the Company and is a Member of the Risk Committee, with over 15 years of experience working in client facing roles providing risk solutions and investment advisory services. Andy has also fulfilled the DP for Fund Risk Management role for three years including the management of day-to-day operations of the Investment Risk team as well as projects such as the integration of the Montlake portfolio of funds under the management of Waystone. At Waystone, Andy has overseen the successful implementation of various technology developments by the team.
Andy joined Waystone from State Street Global Exchange where he managed the team responsible for delivering risk calculations for regulatory reporting including AIFMD, Form PF, CPO and OPERA. In a previous role, he advised NGOs on their asset strategy and allocation with an emphasis on ESG and sustainable investment.
Andy is a CFA charterholder and a Qualified Financial Analyst. Andy holds a BA from Trinity College Dublin in Computer Science, French and Linguistics.
