Rachel Wheeler

Rachel leads Waystone’s Global Strategic Solutions, partnering with clients to navigate complex business change and strengthen long-term operating models. With a focus on helping firms transition from in-house Management Company and Authorised Corporate Director arrangements, she works with organisations to evaluate and implement structural change, driving operational efficiency, scalability and sustainable growth across their global operations.

Trained as a fund lawyer, Rachel has gained over 25 years of experience in asset management. Her extensive career includes serving as the Group General Counsel for Aviva Investors and GAM Investments. Rachel has also held senior positions in the legal teams of USS Investment Management, The Bank of New York Mellon, Gartmore Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Management. Rachel holds a postgraduate diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, Guildford, and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Wales.
