Ollie Walsh

Ollie Walsh is Country Manager, Ireland at Waystone following the merger of Montlake, MDO and DMS to create the leading, global governance and management company organisation, As part of his role, Ollie is responsible for to ensure the all entities are operating optimally and in line with their regulatory requirements, focusing on operational effectiveness, leading key strategic projects and assisting in the ongoing development of the business lines.

Previously Ollie was CEO, Ireland and Head of Montlake’s Irish operation. Ollie joined Montlake in 2017 to help oversee client relationships and operational management of the management company entity with responsibilities including; the relationship management of Montlake’s Fund Manager partners, fund launches and service provider management. Ollie has worked in the funds industry since 2001.

Prior to joining Montlake in 2017, he spent six years in BNP Paribas Fund Services with three years as the Head of Fund Accounting for Assets and Fund Services Ireland, responsible for servicing of 25 clients with €13Bn AUA. Ollie spent the first 10 years in RBC Investor & Treasury Services in a senior role within the Fund Accounting Department the largest client with €25 billion AUA. Ollie holds an Honours Degree from University College Dublin in Business & Legal Studies, a Diploma in Business & IT from Dublin Business School and a Certificate in Complex Financial Products from the Institute of Banking Ireland.
