Michael Madigan is a Chartered Accountant and financial services professional with over 9 years of experience, primarily within the manufacturing industry.
At Waystone, Michael acts as an Associate Director and works closely with its aviation, real estate and structured finance clients, during which time he has gained a detailed knowledge of managing complex transactions, including cross border transactions. Michael works closely with the Risk, Compliance and Legal departments and as part of his role, reviews client management accounts and ensures that annual financial statements, audits and all tax and regulatory requirements are completed in line with the required deadlines.
Prior to joining Waystone, Michael held positions at Grant Thornton Ireland, Kerry Group PLC and most recently with Zeus Packaging Ltd where he held the role of Financial Controller. During each of these roles Michael gained experience and expertise in financial and management reporting along with significant experience in company valuation and due diligence work on acquisitions.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, majoring in Economics and Finance, from the University of Limerick and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA).
