Marc Mangerich

Marc has an in-depth understanding of accounting and operational best practices across all the asset classes, having worked in the fund industry throughout his career. Marc has had close engagement with large institutional investor groups, such as pension funds, family offices and sovereign funds that is highly relevant to his role.

Based in Luxembourg, Marc is responsible for the accounting and operations business at Waystone. Marc has a solid track record on the Luxembourg market since 2007. In his role, Marc is overseeing and managing the services provided to a portfolio of hedge, private equity, private debt and real estate clients. Marc has a solid track record on the Luxembourg market since 2007.  Additionally, he is involved on initiatives to grow Waystone’s footprint in Luxembourg.

Before joining Waystone, Marc held a position as Director Alternative Asset Services at Apex in Luxembourg, overseeing client services for accounting, Corporate Secretary as well as Transfer Agency and ensuring regulatory compliance for all services provided. Furthermore, he was serving on multiple boards covering various asset classes including but not limited to Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Estate. Prior to that, Marc was leading an accounting team at Citco with a focus on Hedge funds. Main tasks amongst others was the implementation and roll out of processes and procedures for the outsourcing oversight.

Marc’s experience also includes roles at Citco, as well as Brown Brothers Harriman in Luxembourg.

His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from the Frankfurt Scholl of Finance and Management.
