Gavan McGuire

With more than 25 years of experience in the fund services industry, Gavan is a Managing Director and focuses on creating long-term partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders. Based in London, he leads on fund administration sales for the EMEA region. With a client-centric approach, Gavan is dedicated to understanding the unique challenges that fund managers face, ensuring that Waystone’s systems and processes are continually evolving to meet and exceed those needs.

Gavan previously held the position of Head of Business Development at Centaur from 2010, which was acquired by Waystone in February 2023 to create our global Administration Solutions offering. Gavan was responsible for spearheading growth initiatives, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate service offerings tailored to evolving client needs.

Gavan has also held senior positions at Citi Hedge Fund Services and Bisys Hedge Fund Services, both in Dublin and London. His prior roles have endowed him with valuable experience and insights into client relationship management, making him a key asset for our clients by providing them with fit-for-purpose solutions that enable their growth and achieve their goals.

Gavan is an alumnus of the University of Limerick. He was a founding member of Help for Children, an industry grant-making charity which assists charities that have a focus on supporting disadvantaged and abused children. He has previously been an active participant in the AIMA communications committee, contributing to discussions on industry standards and best practices.
