Fiona Lehane

Fiona Lehane is Director of Regulatory Intelligence at Waystone, where she leads a forward-looking function that helps clients anticipate, interpret and prepare for regulatory change.

In her role, Fiona oversees the identification, assessment and communication of global regulatory developments affecting clients, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable insight. Her role is to look beyond immediate implementation requirements, distinguish strategic themes from tactical actions, and separate the issues that matter from wider regulatory noise. This enables clients to understand the potential impact on their business models, operating structures and strategic priorities, and to prepare proactively for implementation.

Fiona works closely with Waystone’s business and functional leaders, particularly across Product, Legal & Compliance and Business Development, to ensure regulatory developments inform client solutions, thought leadership and commercial strategy.

Fiona has extensive experience in financial services, with a focus on regulatory change, risk and compliance transformation, and global operating model design across the asset and wealth management industry.

Prior to joining Waystone, Fiona was Managing Director, Client Solutions at Kore Labs, where she developed and executed go-to-market strategy for asset management clients and translated complex regulatory requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.

Fiona has spent the majority of her career at PwC, including more than a decade as a Partner and Director in Asset & Wealth Management Consulting in London. She led large-scale regulatory and transformation programmes for global asset managers, banks and custodians. During her time at PwC, she worked as an auditor, completed a secondment at the Central Bank of Ireland and held roles in the Channel Islands, Ireland and the UK, giving her broad experience across the asset management ecosystem.

Fiona is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She holds a BSc in Accounting from University College Cork and has completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
