Ed Murray has over 25 years of Investment Management experience across all asset classes, with significant private equity, property, ETF, cash equity, credit, and alternative investment experience. In addition, Ed has significant distribution and fundraising experience for private equity, equity and debt capital.
At Waystone, Ed is a member of the Investment Management Oversight team, and participates in both the Waystone Investment and Valuation committees.
Prior to joining Waystone, Ed recently completed a five-year term on the board of An Post (Ireland’s PostaI Service Co.) with a strong focus on governance, risk management, and Environmental Social and Governance “ESG” policies. Ed previously worked with Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland as a Senior Investment Manager, managing Corporate, Charitable and Private funds with an emphasis on oversight and analysis of funds and fund managers.
Throughout his career, Ed has held senior positions at a number of leading financial institutions and is an authorised PCF with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). Ed is a Chartered Director (CDir) with the Institute of Directors (UK), with governance, risk oversight and strategic expertise, and holds a Certificate in ESG Investing with the CFA.
