Cyril Delamare

Cyril Delamare is Global Chief Growth Officer and Holdings Board Member at Waystone. As part of his role, Cyril oversees key revenue divisions; business development, fund distribution, relationship management, marketing and external growth and acquisitions.

Prior to the launch of Waystone, Cyril was the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MontLake. At Waystone, Cyril is active in all aspects of the business, and provides clients with advice on both their digital and traditional distribution strategies, product development and broader industry insights.

Cyril is a highly experienced investment fund expert with a strong background in fund structuring and distribution with a focus on UCITS and AIF. Cyril has almost two decades of experience in the asset management industry, working to bring to market exceptional fund managers in the most suitable fund structures for an ever-changing and evolving European client base.

Prior to MontLake, Cyril was a Partner and CEO at Tara Capital. At Tara, Cyril built a leading advisory firm focused on hedge fund managers across both fund of hedge fund and single strategy basis. During his time at TARA, Cyril was part of the Executive Committee and selected the funds to be promoted by a multilingual, institutional sales team that covered investors globally.

Cyril is a French national and in addition to his mother tongue, is fluent in English and Spanish. Cyril has a degree in International Business from L’Institut Supérieur Européen de Gestion (ISEG) in Lyon, France and has an Executive Certification in Leadership and Strategy from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. He is a regular speaker at conferences and private events around the globe and has a keen eye on innovation and digital transformation within the funds industry.
