Antonio Frias

Antonio has over two decades of experience in international financial services and has made significant contributions to top-tier financial institutions across North America and Europe.

In his present capacity at Waystone, Antonio is responsible for the Luxembourg administration business line, managing the regulated central administration company providing services to aportfolio of hedge, private equity, private debt and real estate clients. Additionally, Antonio spearheads initiatives aimed at capturing and growing Waystone’s footprint in the Luxembourg market.

Previously, Antonio was CEO of Centaur Fund Services Luxembourg until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023, where his responsibilities included overseeing the strategic direction and growth of the Luxembourg office, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory standards. Under his leadership, Centaur Luxembourg experienced significant growth in its client base and solidified its reputation as a premier service provider in the region. Before relocating to Luxembourg in 2019, he served as Head of Operations of Centaur based in Ireland.

Preceding his roles at Centaur, he held management positions at Citi Hedge Fund Services and Bisys Hedge Fund Services in Bermuda. Antonio’s foundational years in the industry were spent with notable firms such as JPMorgan Chase and Franklin Templeton Investments.

Antonio’s academic credentials include a CPA in Accounting from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and a Bachelor of Sciences from Colegio La Salle.
