Alexandra Serban-Liebsch
Head of Business Operations – Continental Europe
As the Head of Business Operations – Continental Europe, Alexandra Serban-Liebsch is responsible for ensuring excellence in operational services and business delivery across Continental Europe. In this role, she oversees key areas of the Luxembourg Waystone business to ensure best-in-class operational management practices.
Alexandra joined Waystone in 2016. Working initially as a Senior Lawyer both on client and corporate projects, she was appointed Head of Legal Luxembourg in 2020 and is a member of the Executive Committee in the Luxembourg Management Company. Additionally, Alexandra has headed RC/MLRO Services since 2023.
Prior to joining Waystone, Alexandra worked in Nordea Investment Funds, where she specialised in cross-border distribution. Alexandra also served as a compliance officer for a notable American management company.
A qualified Luxembourg lawyer, Alexandra has acquired a broad range of experience in the financial services industry in Luxembourg and internationally. Alexandra holds both a master’s degree in Law and a master’s degree in Business Administration and has an additional specialisation in Art Law.
