Emma Causevic

With more than 10 years of experience across investment management, private markets and capital markets, Emma specialises in business development, fund structuring, institutional client engagement and strategic partnerships, with deep expertise across private credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and other alternative asset classes.

At Waystone, Emma is responsible for expanding the firm’s Client Solutions capabilities across EMEA, with a particular focus on private assets and private credit. Based in Luxembourg, she works closely with teams across Fund Administration and Regulated Fund Solutions to develop new relationships, deepen existing ones and help clients access the breadth of expertise and solutions available across Waystone’s platform.

Prior to joining Waystone, Emma was Director of Business Development for Alternative Assets at Universal Investment, where she led growth initiatives across Luxembourg and Ireland and supported the expansion of the firm’s presence in the UK and US markets. Earlier in her career, she held senior business development roles at IQ-EQ across Amsterdam, London and Luxembourg, and worked as a legal consultant at PwC Netherlands advising on M&A transactions. She has also served as a Board Director of Dutch special purpose vehicles spanning private equity, venture capital, healthcare and infrastructure, providing strategic oversight and governance expertise.

Emma holds an LLM in Dutch Corporate Law from Maastricht University and is a Certified Investment Professional (Private Equity). She is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English and Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian.
