Tom Williams is the US Head of Client Solutions at Waystone, based in New York. With over 18 years of experience in private markets and financial technology, Tom’s deep expertise in solving challenges for sophisticated private markets firms positions him to support strategic, multi-jurisdictional client solutions for global investors.
In his current role at Waystone, Tom leads the firm’s strategic growth initiatives across the US, a key market for the business. He is responsible for expanding Waystone’s presence, driving new client acquisition and delivering tailored solutions that address the increasing complexity of alternative assets.
Prior to joining Waystone, Tom held senior leadership roles at BlackRock, where he served as Head of Alternatives Client Engagement for the Americas within the Aladdin Client Business. Earlier in his career, Tom was Head of Sales for eFront in the Americas, where he partnered with private market investors to transform operating models through process optimisation, enhanced data management, automation and analytics, including co-founding and launching eFront Insight. Before joining eFront, Tom worked at several asset management firms covering UK small cap companies.
Tom holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
