James Allis

With more than 20 years’ experience, James is Waystone’s Country Head for Ireland and Global Head of Regulated Fund Solutions. As the Country Head for Ireland, James is responsible for the operations, strategic growth and delivery of Waystone’s solutions in Ireland across our Regulated Fund Solutions, Administration Solutions and Corporate Services, Compliance Solutions and Distribution Solutions product suite. He is also responsible for overseeing the development, management and growth of our Regulated Funds Solutions business. Prior, James worked in areas across Waystone including as Designated Person for Operational Risk, Chairperson of the Management Company (ManCo) Risk Committee, and COO for ManCo and MiFID businesses in Europe.

James has also served as an Executive Director and CEO of Waystone’s Irish Management Company and held the position of Executive Director on Waystone’s MiFID entity.

Prior to joining Waystone in 2016, James spent over a decade at Citco Fund Services in Dublin, where he held a VP position. During this tenure, he led an Operations team overseeing various structures across Hedge, PERE, and Credit.

Certified by PRMIA, James holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance and a Master’s in International Relations, both earned from Dublin City University. He also actively contributed to the Irish Funds Organizational Risk Working Group for two years.
