Joost Lobler is a senior business development and relationship management professional with extensive management experience.
At Waystone, as Managing Director, Joost works with the Global Business Development Team, supporting the business development activities of Waystone within the Asia Pacific region. As part of this role Joost supports the Global Business Development team with offshore domiciled opportunities and regulatory consulting solutions.
Prior to joining Waystone, Joost held the role of Head of Sales – Investors Securities Services at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong where he led a team of staff across the region covering investors (insurers, private banks, real money funds, hedge funds and PE funds) for custody, fund administration and cash solutions. Previously, Joost was Head of Sales, Asia (excluding Japan), Global Asset Services for Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank where he set up securities services activities for the bank in Asia (excluding Japan).
Joost has a MA (Commercial Law) from University of Leiden, Netherlands and an MBA from INSEAD Executive MBA Program, Fontainebleau (France).
